I have a 4.8v nimh and 5v regulated box and am using boge 3.0 cartos on them with a liquinator or alone no problems. I have just purchased 3 ohm clearos hoping to use them in a tank mod also. However, when I fill a clearo and put it on my mods I find it will start to work than the coil immediately gets red hot. I guess it is not able to wick fast enough. Is there anyway to fix this?
Clearomizers on high voltage?

My 3.0 clear cartos and cartomizers all work fine on my 5v's, GLV and Buzz vv. Not sure what it could be, unless its not wicking into the clearo's fast enough? If thats the case, I found taking a few long draws without depressing the button worked well.
Thanks Pamdane. This seems to help I just hate the idea of having to do "primer puffs" again. I thought those days were over but I seems there is no way to make it wick faster. I thought maybe I could through another silica rope on top of the coil may help but may make it flood.
