As above... To be fair you won't do any harm soaking it too long. I think most of the recommendations will say 10-15 mins if you want to be sure. Better over than under. IMHO of course...
As suggested go with a bit more wait time then take a few draws with the airflow shut down and no fire power. Then open the air again and do a draw with a quick fire only. If it tastes good then fire it longer as you like.
