Constant email verification

I don't have any (immediate) plans to buy or sell on this site, but each time I try to log in I'm asked to verify my email. Admittedly that's just 3 or 4 times now as I haven't visited in a while. Its an older (but presumably still valid) email account I use, though I suppose there's the possibility it is being flagged as an unused account. I can change to another account if it helps, just wanted to understand why the repeated verification requests.

I just want to log in, not buy or sell. Thanks.

If an email from ECF is rejected by your email provider, the forum software flags your account.

Thank you for moving the post. I have just received another request to verify today.
I do get the verification emails (and hence can log on), but I am using an old email account that should have probably been closed down now I think about it. It's a previous ISP email account. I just never got around to changing it as it worked. I'll need to update my email address with ECF unless I want the constant verification emails. It must indeed be flagging your software somehow.

Edit> I've updated my email address, hopefully the issue is resolved.

You should be good to go. We have yet to have an incident with a user's account being restricted because of Gmail.
