cotton question

There's various chemical processes that are used on cotton, alkali, bleaching, etc. Medical/sterile cotton is bleached with an oxidizing agent such as hydrogen peroxide or sodium hypochlorite (bleach).
Does it leave any residue? Don't have a clue. I DO boil, just in case.

so after all the info that i have read it seems as though there is no answer, lol. Well for me i have to say, havent had any issues so i feel as though i will be ok. still got to be better than the stinkys. but i did not think about the oil on the kantal. good point. i usually dry burn will, make sure to take it a step farther and make sure to burn it good. thanks guys.......and the debate continues.
