Cuboid mini problem

Hey everyone! Long time since I've been around.

I've got a buddy I got to start vaping and I ordered him a cuboid mini from MVS. He's had it about a week and a half now and he just messaged me to say the screen quit working. This is what he said:

So. I have bad news... the screen stopped working on my Cuboid. I tried the stealth mode thingy and it didn't work.
Well that sucks

I just tried to hit the reset button and it now it won't even fire. Why me? Oh, and paycheck came today. I underestimated on how much that twit Trump is taking out of me and I've got $20 left.

So, I emailed MVS and will see about getting a return, but was thinking maybe this is something that happens and there is a fix for it?

I have a big cuboid, so I don't know anything about the mini. I got him this one since it has an internal battery and I didn't want to have to buy him batteries and a charger as well as the vape.

Any suggestions, easy fixes?
