Cutting ejuice, my maths is messed up.

I keep going over this. I know if I were mix equal parts juice I could add up the nic content and divide by 2. 100ml of 6 mixed with 100ml of 3 = 200ml of 4.5mg.


But..I have some juices of the same flavor, different nic's and different volumes. So lets say this:

100ml of 6mg mixed with 50 ml of 3mg........2 parts to 1 part.

Would that in fact make the nic content higher? 7.5?

I'm losing my mind here!!

Right, so your total milligrams of nic was 600 (your 6 mg juic) + 150 (your 3 mg juice) = 750.

and your total milliliters was 150.

Divide 750 by 150, and you get 5. Five mg per ml of nicotine!

I just want to point out that you can never go higher than the highest of the two or lower than the lower of the two. It will be always be somewhere in between.

1 - multiply the volume of each by it's NIC (eg - 10ml @ 6 = 60, 20ml @ 18 = 360)
2 - total the numbers in step 1 (60 + 360 = 420)
3 - total the volume of each one (10 + 20 = 30)
4 - divide the total in #2 by the total in #3 (420/30 = 14). You have 30ml at 14 mg/ml
