Has anyone here actually tried making absinthe? I found this place where you can order a kit and I'm wondering if anyone has tried brewing the stuff themselves?

Ya a couple of times in Europe and it is legal now here. Thinking of ordering theres. My fear is that it is just a licorice bomb. Great reviews. Any new flavors to recommend.
