Hi,

I'm using ego one 2200 mah version.

After a full charge, in 5-6 hours time, the battery is running out of charge. This makes me mad. I consume 6-7 ml liquid a day and i'm vaping directly to lungs.

Is this kind of discharge duration normal? Doesn't it has to last longer? Can we say that there's a problem? I bought it 3 weeks ago.

Thanks.

Could be normal, are you a chain vaper? What voltage/or/wattage and resistance do you use? Also, that 2200mah battery is about the same as an average 18650 battery so 6-7 hours isn't even that bad, depending on your vape habits. In short you haven't told us enough there are too many variables to consider.

I don't know whether i'm a chain vaper or not :) Half an hour i vape for a while. Or every 45 minutes.

No adjustable battery. No voltage no wattage.

Quite honestly it's a smaller size mod, getting 6-7 hours out of it isn't unheard of or terribly bad. If you really want to up your vape time you could try getting a small dual battery box maybe that should help but I don't really think you have a defective device.

I remember my first e-cigarette only lasting about 2 hours on a charge.

Considering your dilemma, I recommend getting a mod that takes replacable 18650 batteries. Buy 2 - 4 batteries and a charger (you can never have too many batteries). When the first battery drains, you have 1 - 3 charged spare batteries ready to go. IMPORTANT: Keep the spare batteries in a plastic battery case when not in use to prevent them from shorting out against keys or coins.

Yesterday i ordered xiaomi 10.000 mah powerbank :D

heath... you know it's not meant for e-cig charging right?

Mainly Compatible with: Apple,HTC Droid DNA,NOTE,SAMSUNG,MP4,GPS,HTC 8X,HTC,Blackberry,Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300,Galaxy Note 3 N9000,Samsung Note 5,Sony Ericsson,iPod,iPad,iPhone 6,iPhone 6 Plus,iPhone 6S,Nokia Lumia 920/820,Google Nexus 4/5,Samsung S6 Edge Plus,Samsung Galaxy S5,iPad Air,PSP,Tablet

nor is it advisable to charge a device too quickly... some usb ports aren't capable beyond a certain range.
5.1V 2.1A USB output, quick charging
2.1A current output, ensuring the emergency charging needs for its fast charging feature.

charging an e-cig battery incorrectly one.. can kill it, 2 can cause you issues you don't want to contemplate... acid, fire, explosion types...

If you are using the 0.5 ohm coils, 5-6 hours is likely rather normal. Using the 1.0 ohm coils would help get more life. If you get the CLR coils and rebuild them at higher ohms (say 1.5 ohms) you could get even more.

I use the 1.0 ohm CLR coils and get closer to 8 hours on a 2200 mAh battery. I'm a 7-8 mil a day vaper.

Getting 6-7 ML out of a 2200 mah battery is not too bad. It's probably running around 25-30 watts with the 0.5 ohm heads.

The 1 ohm heads have tighter draw for mouth to lung vaping so if you like the direct to lung vape stick with the 0.5's.

I Googled that and the one I saw is rated 2 amps output at 5 volts. Your ego one needs 1 amp minimum for charging so if you have the 2 amp power bank you're good that way. The ego will only take what it needs from the power supply.

OTOH, the one I looked at has the ability to output different voltages. Be careful to only use 5 volts (standard USB output) or you will either destroy the charger in the ego or cause the battery to heat up and either burn or explode. I imagine the USB output plug from the power bank will only do 5v, but thought I would mention it anyway just in case :)

okay... let's try this again... stop comparing phones to e-cigs they are not the same, nor do they put batteries to the same use, or even use the same kind of batteries.

yes it's a Li-ion battery in phones/computers etc... while being li-ion in e-cigs as well... they are DIFFERENT TYPES between the phones/computers and the e-cig type. while they are made from the same materials, they are made with different requirements, this is why you cannot just take a battery from a computer and place it in an e-cig. abusing these types of batteries is exactly how all those venting, fires and explosions happen that news likes to play. these are high use/high drain batteries, quick charging etc will destroy them and lead to the side effects mentioned, phone ones are made for a steady constant use and can take quick charging.
