"DIY" Carto Punch

Good stuff -- it really is simple, low cost, consistent

I was just going to buy one of those costly punches, then I saw this! You saved me some cash on this awesome Idea, Bought the box of screws so I will be good for life. One of the big worries for me is, no matter how fancy the tip of the punch is, it will still wear out. So now you officially win the hero award, again I thank you as does my wallet!

Random bump, pointing some new people towards this.

If you have a tank with thicker end caps, so you want the hole slightly higher on the carto body, it's pretty easy to gauge by sight, else use a few HW store bumper washers to add some depth.

TY, Markfm. Finally got one of these- working great! Saddle valve still working, but a little more hassle to use.

Good idea on the washers also, am trying Boge 1.6 prepunched (flanged) and they're a little high for my grommet tanks.
