Propylene glycol wont go bad per se. Neither will the nicotine liquid. However, the nicotine will break down over time and will not maintain its effectiveness. How fast will depend on exposure to oxygen and sunlight and excessive heat - how long and how often. Most of the bottles at e-cig will protect your product from light. But if your order arrives in clear bottles - consider transferring the contents to dark glass bottles. DO NOT USE PLASTIC.
Also if you are going to keep your product for a very long time store your bottles in a cool dark place. An unlit basement is ideal. Refrigeration is probably OK but not if it is very cold. Somewhere between 40 and 70 degrees will be ideal. If your house has a/c, a dark closet will be fine.
Thanks.
Well I have a drink cooler/mini fridge in my room, which doesn't get very cold at all. When I put water in it's not even 'cold', it's just a little cool. Also, are we talking sunlight (bright) or just any light period? I have the light in my room on a few hours a day on a dim setting, would that be too much light? I ask because the fridge has a glass door, so it's not completely pitch black in there.
And okay, say you have it stored at the right temp with no light, it lasts forever like that? Or does it still go 'bad' at some point. How would one even know if it's bad?
The reason I'm a bit concerned is because when I asked someone how much liquid you get in comparison to like real cigs, I was told the 8ml bottle lasts them a month when they smoked a pack a day before. So at my rate of smoking only a couple a day, I'm thinking these bottles will last me a verrrryyy long time, and I dont want them to goto waste. But at the same time shipping is pricey so I want to order a decent amount or it isn't worth it.
