Dotmod RTA Build

Hey Guys,

I've had my new Dotmod Petri RTA the past few weeks, and due to its uniqueness I've probably wasted a full tank of juice on figuring out how to wick it the right way so that it doesn't leak.

If anyone has experience with this RTA let me know what works best for you given the unique deck/big juice flow holes/etc.

make sure wick is completely in juice channels

fill to the top

turn upside down and leave it for about 15-20 seconds

I just found this idea and a build that was just leaking is now working perfectly. hope it works for you too

I went through the same thing. Juice flowing out through the air holes like crazy. Then after trying different builds I found a simple solution. The cotton must fill the grooves on either side of the wick holes. If it is not possible to get enough cotton to completely fill those areas through your coils then I found a simple solution. I added small cotton balls filling those groves behinds the wick holes. The cotton balls were not attached to the wicks but touching them so the juice could easily flow through. This stopped my problem completely. I have since made several builds and that solution always works for me. Don't worry about putting too much cotton it doesn't seem to cause any problem as long as you fluff the cotton before placing it.
