so I just purchased a lavatube v2.5 during the cybersale (yippie) and I'm wondering do I need to get me a drip tip shield for dripping with my new lavatube, or is that having a drip tip shield just a personal preference? I really don't wanna ruin my lavatube or have to be cleaning or wiping off drips of juice out of or off of my new piece of gear...and I did also get the lavatube atomizer, so im gonna be new at the dripping stages...I usually do tanks and cartos...thanks !!!

as long as you are careful and dont over fill your atomizer, you shouldn't need a drip shield. Once the atty is primed you shouldn't drip more than 3 drops of juice in it. Then you should get around 5 hits give or take depending on the voltage/wattage you have it set at, the higher the setting the less hit you will get. Once you notice the flavor dropping off and the vapor production getting less, it is time to re drip.

Also congrats on your new purchase. I am sure you are gonna love it.
