Hey guys, I'm new to vaping, I recently upgraded from a ....ty gas station vape to a Nebox vape. It works great, but today it started tasting bad and burning my throat really bad. Does this mean I have to change the coil or cotton or something? I know literally nothing about vaping so if someone can explain it I'd appreciate it.

Sounds as if you turned the wattage too high and burned the wick.

No dumb questions. But clearly some dumb answers here.

it is not reasonable to need to change a coil after 2 days. Period.

Not reasonable but some times it is necessary.

1. Dark sweet juices gubk coils and clog wicks quickly.
2 the person scorches or burns the wick changing the coil is necessary. The vape will taste bad tikk you do.

Again, it is not reasonable to need to replace a coil every 2 days.

Anyone that says it is, is giving the OP bad advice.

Why do you say this?

How many ml's has the Coil been thru?
Was the Coil ever Run Dry?
Does the User have the Air Flow Closed Off and the Watts Jacked Up?
Is the Coil a Good Design for the Type of PG:VG e-Liquids the OP uses?
Is it just a Bad Coil?

Seems like there are a Lot of Reasons Why a Coil might need to be Replaced after 2 Days.

Maybe you can Clarify why my post is Not Applicable.

And why "it is not reasonable to need to change a coil after 2 days. Period."

It is in relation to replacing every 2 days on an ongoing basis. THAT is not reasonable.

Obviously coils burn out faster during the early stages of a new vaper's learning curve.

I just never saw Time as a Definitive measure as the Longevity of a Coil.

Because if You tell me that a Coil should last 5 Days, then what happens when a Person uses Twice as much e-Liquid per day as You Do?

Or of course, Any or Combination of the things I Mentioned Earlier.
