Well, more that one seaman has run a ship aground using dead reckoning, and it wouldn't surprise me if more than one pilot had found cumulo-granite clouds that way as well, but but in this context, I don't see any safety concern.

Thank you Rossum, AZPlumber and DC2. This sounds do-able. Time consuming......but do-able. Dead reckoning.

You should ask the seller if they have fully charged the battery. If not, then it is likely at 40% already - it's how all batteries I've gotten from most vendors are at - Cignot, Heaven Gifts, most of China, although it may vary by vendor.

Selling ecig stuff has been a no no on Ebay for a long time now.

The problem is that they can't keep up with millions of ads. Some of the sellers "report" ecig type ads, by their competitors LOL

Typical ebay cut throat behavior.

However, it is still pretty easy to buy or sell stuff there. Short auctions (the longer they run the more noticeable they will be.)
