Yup! It will set it off if there is enough vapor or steam that gets into the alarm....I tried it once, blew vapor using 6V straight into the alarm, it went off, but only for a few seconds.

Here In Gibraltar the airlines that fly from the airport don't allow people to use E cigs. But luckily I am flying to Ireland next week from Malaga airport (Spain) so shouldnt be an issue 
Was lazy so I skipped to the last page of this thread. So are you allowed to carry pv on planes? I'm not going to use them.
Let's not forget that people can be stubbornly stupid; if it looks like smoke, it MUST be smoke and no amount of explanation will change their minds. Vaping in the cabin for all to see would just give the antis a reason to complain about a technology that at this point most of them know very little about, something which I see as a good thing. I'd like PV's to fly beneath their radar for as long as possible.
