E leaf 20w help

Hi all, I'm newish to vaping and have purchased the ileaf 20w, I have an aspire k1 tank, is there any other tank I can get which is better, (bigger clouds) and what type of liquid ratio can I use on my ileaf, thank you

The Aspire Nautilus mini goes well with that.

Depending on the tank you can only go so low on your coils. I don't sub-ohm so I'm sure someone else will chime in with the kind of help your looking for.

The eleaf 20w was my first mod too and really enjoy it. I don't think you can really sub-ohm on it though if that's what your looking to do. You would need a more wattage in your battery.

I will say though that when I use my Nautilus mini on it with a 1.8 coil, I get decent clouds.

Don't run a 1.8 (or 1.5) coil at 20watts or you will burn out the coil. I am assuming those are the type of coils you have if you have the K1.

Yes it's a 1.8 coil on the k1, my device only let's me go to 16.9 watts on that tank, so I guess I need to look at other liquids for thicker clouds

Hi and welcome. +1 on the Nautilus tank, it should help make more vapor. I recommend the 1.6 ohm coils for best vapor. Your real problem if you want big vapor is your are power limited. According to the Mod Range page in Steam Engine, at 1.6 ohms, your iStick can only make 19 watts; and the 1.8 ohm coils would be worse. Still, you should see an improvement over the K1 tank with the Nauti. But what you get there is about all you can get out of a 20 watt machine. For more, you're going to need more power.

The more VG in the juice the more clouds you will have. Forgot the eleaf has protection features (which is a good thing).

I don't honestly know. Those look like pretty good coils with a fairly modern design and decent sized holes. Still, all of them are limited to some extent. I'm handicapped as I neither use prefab coil tanks nor vape in the low watt regime. Just a guess, I'd say you can probably get up to at least 40PG/60VG, but I am hesitant to day it because I don't know that for a fact and I don't want you to burn out a whole pack of coils trying Tootle puffers, help me out here!

That should be fine. Make sure to prime the coil though I really don't do that myself. I just let it sit for a couple minutes and "pulse" puff it.

Also you want to make sure you have the tank (mini) on full open air flow for best results.

Thank you both you have both been very helpful so one last question, I cannot get a sub ohm tank on my ileaf? Not even the lowest form of sub haha
