E2-Carto: how to take apart and put together again

Hi...

I have the suspicion, that I killed my first E2-510-XL because of my long puffs - nearly 10s each

Is there anywhere a video or an easy description, how I can take an E2-XL-Carto apart to have a look at the parts inside?

And is it possible to put it together so it might work again?

I have taken a few apart and even reused them. Put the carto on a battery ,hold the carto end and the battery...gently wiggle it loose. Use an up and down motion putting pressure on the seal of the carto. When you see it moving be careful and pull it apart. Comes out in one piece so no worry about breaking the wires like an Atty. Good luck. Oh ya...don't use tools they crush the tube.

I took 2 apart this morning using storminyte's approach. Although, the batt and carto are so smooth, I had to use latex gloves to get a good grip on them both. Worked perfect!

Put carto on battery and pull hard on each end while wiggling the carto back and forth (wiggle ever so slightly as not to warp the casing)! simple.

The one from COV was true R4. One from other vendor was a bastomizer with Glue AND Filler inside.

Ya, I ended up with all bastomisers, not an R4 in the bunch even tho the supplier said they were R$. I'm gonna hold out for awhile and hope to get some soon.
