This article explains that vapor is nearly harmless. Even with this information, I still don't vape in someones home or business unless they tell me that it is okay first. I don't even ask. I always step outside and then see if they say anything. Usually they tell me that it is fine to stay in. I never vape around small children unless we are outside and even then, take a few steps away. I am a fan of redundancy when it comes to being safe or not upsetting people for no reason. It is just not worth it to argue with someone over. If they don't want you to vape around them or their kids, that is 100% their call.
