sorry guys...
i found out 10 minutes before the show that i didn't have a show anymore and i wasn't a host at TVN...
i won't feed the drama monkeys... partially cause i don't care for drama and partially cause i have no idea why i was canned...
sorry that there was no interview guys...

It's disgusting, and Jay appears to have been treated with the utmost disrespect, but this is just what happens when the lunatics take over the asylum - or so it seems!

Wow! Are you kidding me? What about Blaine's network...why not do the show there?
I think we need to wait for the other side of this story. It seemed like all the hosts and mods on TVN were waiting for jay to start his show up, and looking forward to the interview.
Frig TVN I was so looking forward to the show tonight. I thought we would finally be treated like the adults that we are & told what is going on with vaping in Canada.

I was all set to do the show! One minute before I was due to go on air, Jay tells me he's been fired from the network, and there will be no show.
Our website has gone live now, and we'll try to get an open forum for you to speak to us as soon as we can, but this came out of left field!

Such a disappointment. Once again we are left in the dark about what is going on.
Can we not have the interview over at stickam in about a half hour??? I will go there and start a chat room, for goodness sakes, so that we can carry on!!!
Jay is (understandably) not up for it tonight. We are working on being able to reschedule WITH Jay, since this is his interview to carry out, but we must give him time to get over the shock.

Jay there is no need to say sorry for this...you were taken by surprise just like the rest of us. I know I will miss your show like many others will, it was always very fun and informative.

After reading this thread and the "others", I've gotten a bit of a crash course on how emotional the topic of ECTA is at the very least.
Jay, I'm really sorry to hear about your situation, as stated as of right now, and hope you take the time needed to collect yourself entirely and become stronger for it when you can come back.

i just want to clarify...
Jeff, as a manager and owner, has to make decisions to protect his network... i have no bones with him about that! the timing sucked, but here's the basics... 5 hours before my show he sent me a message on skype... i didn't get it till 10 min before my show and we just didn't have time to properly sus it out... i argued and because of timing, he just shut the conversation down and kicked me... had i been at my computer when it first came up, i'm confident that we would have had the conversation, talked it out, figured it out and life would have carried on...
we are still talking, and the door isn't closed... i've just been asked to step outside till we sort it out... i may or may not re-enter but thats between jeff and i to figure out... noone else!
