Ego one atomizer wont screw onto base

I got an ego one about a week ago and have been using a 1.0 atomizer and a 0.5 atomizer that came with it. I just went to replace the atomizer with a new 1.0 one but it just wont screw on. I tried and tried but it wont screw on. there are no issues with the original ones. It looks identical and was bought at the same shop where I bought the ego one. please help
