EGO or KR808

Hi Guys,

Trying to make my first ecig purchase and aaarrrgggh, having a hard decision.

Important to me A LOT is battery life! Ease of use - pretty important!

I like the KR808 for the simplicity but I am unsure about battery life. Not that I am a heavy smoker (still using analogs) but when I smoke - I smoke a lot....or when I am on travel, etc.

I smoke clove cigarettes, now banned....5 or 6 an evening but on weekends - a heck of a lot more. I don't want to be fiddling with battery.

I don't want to pay a lot for the cartomizers but I guess people refill them which is a plus.

It seems I have heard a lot more about the EGO than the KR808 (not sure which model yet since I know there is like a,b,c, etc....)

Help me please - I'd like to place an order this weekend. Thank you!

Why not an EGO and 510 cartomizers?then you have the best of both.

Ok - so a bit more research is in order....I heard folks talking about the 510 cartomizers...hmmmmm, guess I didn't make the connection. All I hear is 3 piece and 2 piece. Guess, I'll have to see how that works...go find me some pictures!

My eGo plus 510 cartomizers worked great. I have since moved on to 5v vaping with the same cartomizers. I was even able to switch a carto from a fruity flavor to a different flavor with a little boiling water, so cartos can be very useful. Cartos are also pretty cheap compared to attys. I haven't lost a carto yet, it's only been two weeks though, with a week at 5v.

I have also used an 808 on my 510 attys. It worked fine, but I think the eGo batteries last longer.

Hmmm....thanks for that info. So, basically if I went the ego route - buy 510 cartomizers as well....

I use my Tornado/eGo a lot more then I thought I would. The battery life is awesome and using it with the 510 atomizer/carts when I can refill top off is nice. Then switching to cartomizer when I am driving or out and about is convenient. Honestly, I think it is the way to go.

How long on average does a cart last for you? I'm trying to figure out - how often I'm going to be possibly running out of juice....kind of seems annoying to me...but then once again, I'm still a bit overwhelmed about the whole idea of topping off, filling, liquids, etc.

vermonter. I just realized where you are nother VA vaper. I will typically go through 3 cartridges in a WORK day, then more at night. But I can vape at my desk and don't have to take "smoke" breaks. A cartomizer will last me most of the workday, though I will top it off occassionally. As far as fluid, I go through roughly 2ml a day so 30ml lasts me ~2 weeks.

I went a Kr808 and am about to buy an eGo ...wish I had just bought one in the first place! Now that they have the cartomizers ... you can switch between those and attys (my mom has the 510 and I think the cartos are great) if you want to drip etc....

Do they have LR cartos?1? Now that would be interesting.

JMO but, I'd go 3 piece w/ the ego: battery-LR atomizer-cartridge. Then find some good premium e-liquid to vaporize.

There are a few vendors carrying LR 510 cartos now (one of them is provape I believe) as for 808 cartos V4L premium has lower resistance.
