As you know, this legislation revises premarket review and reporting requirements for products considered “tobacco products” by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Under the bill, products such as vaporizers and e-cigarettes are not subject to premarket FDA review if introduced to the market before being deemed tobacco products. I agreed to co-sponsor H.R. 2058 to help ensure that these products, many of which help Americans remian smoke-free, are available to consumers.
