I wish we could make that EN sticky RED - so it would catch your attention when needed. In the "old" days 3 or 4 people would jump at the chance to help out a fellow vaper in need - all taken care of in mere minutes.
It used to be that the person in need would post their plight ....... the moderators felt that this was embarrassing; having the intimate details of your troubles out in public view - so we changed the thread to PM a moderator. The moderators do a little "leg work" to check things out as best as can be, and once approved the "need" is put in the thread. This worked
Over the past year or better, I think that our PIF'ers have thought there wasn't much call for the EN thread. Nothing could be further from the truth. The caring mods that we are, we've been taking care of many of the Emergency Needs between us and there have been some PIF'ers, with extras laying around, that have forwarded them to the mods for just such an instance and that gear/juice has been put to good use.
Many of you "favorite" the threads that interest you and, if on your phone, don't see all the sticky threads to see if there has been activity.
The holidays are upon us - there will be Emergency Needs coming.
If you only frequent your "favorites" in PIF - please consider adding the Emergency Needs thread to your subscriptions. It won't blow up your phone as only the original request is posted there - there is no chit-chat, etc. Just the emergency - stripped down to it's barest detail.
We love PIF, we love having all the contests and giving away some pretty nice stuff (thanks to our generous vendors).....please don't forget what we stand for .... don't let our fellow vapers who are having problems become lost in the sea of postings.
