We had a chance to interview with iJoy Brand marketing manager Vivian and chief engineer Along in Shenzhen ecig Expo, talked about product lines, new technology, new devices& brand strategy including a deeper discussion with engineer on iJoy product history, issue, and trend.
Talked about iJoy Brand, some of you might start to know it by its Asolo mod. The taste control technology caught some eyes before. It was a nice try for the temperature control mod market. I personally keep some Asolo beta version.
Then iJoy Brand ushers its epic product line-Tornado Tanks, which is the 1st RDTA line in the market. Its creamy flavor and tremendous cloud was a big hit to the atomizer market. Team up with Limitless continues its success. Many interesting gears were introduced at that time.
iJoy does not wanna lose the big cake of the mod market. It releases many hyper mods until the success of 200w RDTA Box. But, life is full of ups and downs. The led display issue of RDTA Box brings many doubts on this brand. And we brought this question to its chief engineer ‘Along’.
Q: Can we represent our customers to ask you a very sensitive question?
Along: Yes, we’d like to help.
Q: The 200w iJoy RDTA Box was quite popular for a certain time, but the led display issue was a big hit to the brand. Is it due to the quality control problem or the circuit board?
Along: It does have a problem, and we had a few intensive tests on this mod. It is not related to the circuit board. The problem is the LED provider a wrong batch of display. After getting some clients’ feedback, we already handled this issue.
In this eCig Expo, iJoy also brings its latest device and battery-Captain&20700 battery. After the success of compact dual-18650 battery mod, they have been searching and investing to invent something new to hit the market! Given to the more and more needs on power and battery life longevity, iJoy decides to bring the Tesla battery-20700 type to vape community. And Captain is the first mod comes with this battery!
Isn’t this wonderful? More power, longer battery life, all in this small &compact box! Wanna something more simple? Sure thing!
They bring the pen-styled mechanical mod, also possible to be loaded 20700 battery! However, this time, it is presented in a different brand- Wondervape. Speaking of Wondervape, we had an interview with marketing manager Vivian.
Q: We knew that iJoy has a new brand, and it seems not many of people know it. Can you share me some story about this new brand?
Vivian: Yes, we start this new brand last year, it was named as ‘Cigpet’. And after some marketing research, our board decides to change it as ‘Wondevape’. We hope this brand can bring more people more cost-effective devices. The price of this brand product would be very competitive compared with other brand. A good performance at an affordable price is this brand position of the vape market. We hope this brand could bring people more wonderful vaping time. Then we made the decision.
