Dropped my evic vtwo mini today. Luckily the tank on top didn't smash - but the two magnets in the body of the mod popped out. They now stick to the removable sideplate. I've tried refitting them but the plate no longer seems to fit properly. Any ideas anyone?
If that is similar to the eVic Mini (v1) and it is the magnets on the mod that have come away, then Terry's suggestion sounds about right - superglue them back in.

If anyone's interested, FT now have the Nautilus 2 in stock.

I decided to leave my delayed order with them as I quite like the one I got here - not what I'd call perfect, as hands do not stay totally clean when refilling or changing the coil, but it seems to have settled down after my initial experience with it, in that it stopped gurgling and I've only had a couple of very small leaks from the air holes.
Coil still sometimes stays screwed into the top when a refill is needed. Tempted to try filling it upside down at such times, but haven't tried yet.

That video you linked to earlier reviewing the Nautilus 2 said it had a tendency to flood and maybe that's the gurgling you are experiencing when filling. His solution was to fill then the last few turns of the top were done upside down avoiding flooding.

Bottle of hand gel comes in handy - I've always got one JIC
Good idea! Seeing everything is in here, I always have paper towels/tissues to hand anyway, but hand gel would also help.
Point is though, it's hardly tpd compliant really! I thought the idea was a refill method that did not cause any contamination/leaking. Still, it's better than I'd initially thought. Pity it's only 2ml ;)

Exactly - that's what I realised about it :):
"The other thing is, the gurgling. Going back to watch the Bob youtube review of it, I see his way of dealing with it at around 11mins 55seconds in.
I think I may have unwittingly done what he suggests when fiddling with it earlier today

Aha! Very interesting! Am I right in thinking that you can use normal Nautilus Mini bvc coils in this?

Edit: Don't worry. They won't take PayPal for it.

That's a shame - I use Amex on there (and anywhere else I can) ...they give me 1% back each year ;)
They aren't much more here though ...got the one I'm using from UK E Cigstore.
Yes, the coils are interchangeable :)

Strange all my purchases from FT have been through Paypal.
It's the brand as far as I remember - Aspire are said to have requested PP not to offer their payment system for their products as FT are not official retailers and sell under the recommended price. I think that's the reason.

Interestingly I tried again on a black one. Shows up as £12.75 on FT. Tried to walk through it on PayPal - showed up as £16.89. Cancelled PayPal payment! Awful exchange rate at present. I think it must have been the coils ordered with it that stopped PayPal working yesterday - just as well!

Makes me glad I use a CC. I wouldn't want to pay a ridiculous fee like that to PP either!

In the end bought it from ecigaspire - 10% off there. :)
Don't blame you! Hope you like it :) My FT one finally left today, and the one I bought here has settled down and works nicely.
Pity this doesn't have a larger tank adapter kit!

I haven't tried my X tank yet.

You'll enjoy it. Did you get the larger tank adapter kit? Takes it up to 4ml. I'm happy with mine at 2ml because it's an easy top filler. To my mind it works best with the 1.8 ohm coils, but of course tastes differ. I was a bit unhappy with mine on 1.5 ohm as I found it was a bit of a flavour killer for me.

When I got the brain bleed I also lost my sense of smell. Because I still (luckily) have my sense of taste I hope the smell thing will come back one day. Vaping is just as good without smell, oddly.

You can't use PayPal for anything by Aspire. Only way round it is to buy something the same price then cancel and take a gift certificate and use that to pay for the Aspire stuff

Yes - normally true. It was going to let me buy a black Nautilus 2 today, however.

No, I didn't get the 4ml adapter ...yet. I'm a bit wary of them because each time I had a decent up to 2ml tank, and then bought a bigger version of the same later, it leaked!
I prefer 1.8 coils too - am using them with the Nautilus 2, and they work fine at 6.5 - 7watts.
Unfortunately, I got 1.5 with my X tank - hadn't seen the 1.8, but see them now, so I'll get some :)

My dad had a SDH brain bleed, and it was a severe one that his GP had missed, and sent him to stay with us to see if he improved! We ended up with police escorts flying through the night for emergency neuro surgery - his head was totally scrambled for a few weeks once he came round, even to the point of thinking he was back in Sierra Leone, but gradually, over time, he returned to 'himself'. All his senses seemed as they'd always been - lifelong poor sense of smell, but everything else fine.

I suspect for now, your memory will compensate for where actual smell sensors fail ...sort of filling in the blanks. Time may gradually bring it back as it was.

Always seems rather silly doesn't it.

Perhaps they forgot to add the 'block'. ...made up for it with the attempted added conversion charge!
