Well I rarely post up on random just to share but I think I really should, I can't help it lol.
I finally got round to getting myself a goon, and I've gotta say it's ridiculous how good it is. I have a twisted messes rda, limitless plus rdta, avocado rda and a few others... none of them come anywhere near close to this thing.
Best purchase I ever made..if you've not tried go and buy.

I have a copper goon RDA for my copper/carbon fiber AV mech mod and I loved it. I purchased a RX300 to go along with the RX200s I have and I wanted a larger RDA for it (since the mod is huge and every 22mm or 24mm RDA I have just looked small on it) so I purchased a Mason 27mm RDA. I loved the build deck on the Goon until I got the Mason. I have to say this is my favorite RDA now (I have probably 8 RDA's that I rotate). The build deck can fit monster coils (I use mainly SS aliens) and the air flow is awesome. I like airy air flow and this thing def has airy air flow. I'm running dual 7 wrap aliens around a 4mm jig. Coming in at .15 ohms and running it at 150W. I have had it up to 250W and it's a hot dense vape but too hot for my liking. Def chucking the vapor.

Glad your enjoying the goon!

It is a great RDA. I mainly use mine on my mech. That's what I got it for to match the copper on the neck and RDA.

The reason I responded to this thread is you mentioned that you had a handful of RDA's and the goon is your favorite one now because of the build deck and for "coil porn". That's why I mentioned the Mason because it has a huge deck to build on and you can put some really nice big advanced builds in there and get some coil porn shots .

They have a family of Mason RDA's. Starts at the 24mm then to the 27mm, 30mm and the ginormous 40mm which is crazy big. That one supports quad coils.

I will have to agree I have a few goons 22 and 24 and they are good but the masons are better imo. Just got the mason 30mm rta dumptank, huge build deck, holds 11ml of liquid . Vapor production is huge but doesn't sacrifice flavor, flavor is as good as almost all rda's I've used to date.

They do put out good products. I'm debating on getting the 24mm RDA for my RX200s but I have so many RDA's I'm thinking ::do I really need another one?:: as much as I want to say yeah I really don't need one. I would like them to make a dump tank in a 27mm size.

i like it, but there are others that i like better. goon has nice wide open air intake and it can produce amazing clouds. taste isn't all that bad, but with more space in the atty and amount of air it passes through, the flavor sort of bleeds. but i don't think people get goon for flavor. during the day under high stress, goon works for me. but once i'm back home relaxing, i prefer csmnt, better taste. toku is sort of in between. have to wait for few other attys to see which one i like the best. currently replacing my old hardware to new ones.

Seriously considering the goon 24mm. I have a velocity v2(genuine) but I cannot fit in large flat coil legs. Also find I get a lot of spitback not matter what. I looked at the Mason 30mm but I just want something the more exotic coils can go into. Single framed staple alien is sufficient for me.

Are you saying you can't fit exotic coils (alien, framed staple, staggered fused clapton) in the Mason? I have the 27mm Mason and I can fit all of those in it.

Hey Wheel. Post holes are round on the Mason. How do fit the flat wide legged coils in without messing it up? Simply cannot see how you do it. Got any pics you can share? Personally, is like the 30mm Mason but the goon seems easier as I have heavy hands and was given wide digits.

I use 26 gauge cores (alien with 3 cores and 2 of corse on the staggered fused clapton) both wrapped with 32 gauge. Here is a couple pic of a SS alien build I just installed.

I could fit the same coils in the velocity. I've got are wide than the post holes. Tried bending the legs or folding them but same thing. Then discovered the goon. It would just slot straight in.

@Dart Omerta, thanks for the thumbs up! I love it when coils get that color. Too bad it doesn't last long.

@ Bhoot, that is in the 27mm Mason. The 30mm are the same size holes but then the 40mm, that thing is just a monster. I would love to get that and do a massive quad build but thaw size of that thing is just stupid bug and wouldn't fit on anything that I have and look at least half way normal.
