Flat top and button top batteries

I just got a eGo V.V./WATT APV. What I 'd like to know is how to tell them apart? I'm used to reg American made batteries with a large dimple on one end. The battery I have 18650 has a white spot with a tiny dimple to where its almost flat. I'd like to order a couple of the 18350s but I can't tell what kind to get

Are you going to be stacking the 18350s? I personally have heard bad stories about stacking batteries. If I were you I would probably stick to 1 18650 battery. As far as flat top vs. button top I believe it's just whatever fits best. I tried to fit a 18650 button top in my zmax mini and it didn't fit right so I had to find a flat top that fits perfectly
