The author seems puzzled about why US orgs are being so dishonest, but it's perfectly clear: they're all evil money-sucking leeches who don't give a rat's patootie about actual health, only about money. CRYSTAL clear.

Don't think he is puzzled at all. He has written more pro vaping articles ( going as far back as 2009 ) than any other journalist likely :

Search Reason: electronic cigarettes

Just a style of writing to bring attention to the misguided and ideological position organizations like the ALA and CDC have re e-cigs.

Just think, these type of articles are being written when a) vaping vendors are not engaged in full disclosure, b) flavors are plentiful and some that are argued as marketing to kids, and c) when some vapers are imagining DAP to be a very serious danger/risk. I mean, we could go back for last 5 years and find articles that are essentially saying the same thing.

I find it hard to reconcile the two positions, but also realize there's enough cooks in the vaping kitchen to have umpteen dozen different side arguments going on.
