Forum slow down?

Is it just me, or is there anyone else experiencing the slow forum today.

I actually got a 404 error which freaked me out.

yesterday and today it has been very sluggish
A few times I would click a link or even the "top" hotlink in people's posts and server would return an error page.

This comming from different ISP's and time of day and browsers

Just out of curiosity, maybe check the logs to make sure its not getting repeatedly hammered by a FDA bot?

We go through Cloudflare. So getting hammered (i.e., DDoS attacks) is mitigated fairly well.

We're looking into the reasons for the slowdowns, though.

its good it acts as a blocker, but still a middleman to go through. Could be their servers have undue load at the moment.

But I digress. My server knowledge doesnt extend past personal servers ran in my closet off my home IP via IIS and win2k. But if it ever involves hitting something with a hammer, then Im your man!

We're trying to search for patterns to determine a cause. If you experience 404 errors and slow downs again, please post here.

404 for about 15 minutes for me, and agree forums seem a bit slow loading pages.

I wouldn't either, but these things take time, and maintenance.

Getting "Alerts" to update is my first indicator as a rule, and it's been in and out for a week.
