Geekvape AEGIS was designed by Justin which is a legendary TC box mod that runs up to 100W. Firing in 0.015 seconds is Fastest. And it supports both 18650 and 26650 battery. It is designed to be waterproof [ IPX7 ], shockproof [810G-516.6] and dustproof [IP6] by adopting advanced LSR Injection Moulding technology.

First impression, the Geekvape AEGIS is a solid and nice looking mod, full of technological sense, it's not a small mod so it looks powerful when in hand. Hand checking picture as below:

The Geekvape AEGIS front part is made of soft silicone material, middle part is stainless steel and the back with a high quality genuine leather. So the hand feeling is quite good.

The interface is also fresh new compare to others, an oled screen and the luminance is adjustable.

Overall, it's a good choice for advanced vaping, you will get lots of different experience compare to others.

So, how do you feel about it? ;)

Some places have them at ridiculous prices which i wont repeat here, that and the fact there are zero revues, and they wont ship for nearly a month makes me nervous...

Not only that, seen it $60-70 no reviews and no chip specs on geekvape site, I don't give a damn if it's bulletproof if it has .... chip.

DJSLB review (of tester unit) here

For me as a temp controllist, im going to pass, the mere mention of resistance reading issues (brings back the horror of those VTC Minis i had) and tc being off (of course again VTC Minis - plus im not going to fiddle with TCR to overcome shortcomings on devices either, if theres an error, you fix it...its not my job..im paying you for a fully working device), is an automatic no from me. Im not convinced that rubber material or the front is going to hold up after too action/much time either, even if you dont run over it in your car....

Id much prefer actual venting over being waterproof, but thats just me personally.

Also note there is no onboard USB charging...ironically one of the few things i can live with, as theres none of that on my beloved TreeBox...

He does make some reference to them fixing some issues for the production models, but he doesnt specify what exactly has been fixed, as usual he's just been told that by the manufacturer...ill hold my breath.

As we have no actual review of a production model yet, you can wait for that...i didnt

I was hedging on it, seriously considered it as i geenrally like GeekVape gear, but decided to get an ePetite DNA60 instead

It is a beefy device clearly not designed for those with tiny hands but clearly very solid. The chip advertises 100 watts which with my current build means stepping up for anything over 50-60 watts which it seems to do quite well and the ability to use 26650 cells is a leg up for single cell mods like this one where 18650 cells tend to stagger through a whole day. I have yet to take it on any job sites as my line of work will inevitably test all of the durability factors (hydroblasting, industrial vac truck work, confined space maintenance, etc) but I have high hopes that this can survive the rigorous environments that I get involved in daily.
