Tension from least to most:

1- 2 magnets (very loose don't forget to lock when not in use)
2- 3 magnets with 2 stuck together at the base and 1 opposite at the head
3- 3 magnets each one opposite to the other
4- can you fit 4 magnets? I don't know never tried

Nice, thanks!

I'm not having any luck trying to buy the magnets from Oli S Aus G
The FaceBook group "Old Sam" is all in German
I'm ECF PMing him and FaceBook messaging him and getting nowhere
I might have to just try ordering from gaussboys and hope they fit
WOW

I just ordered from Gaussboys... wasn't it confirmed that they fit already?
edit: yeah, apparently they "fit perfectly"

battery spring is different than the button spring sub, so the one cant replace the other
Can the brass battery springs be used for the axis post spring as well? They look to be about the same size.. and if I end up using the magnets I'd like to have some sort of use for these battery springs!

I've had a couple that wouldn't fit something like 3 out of 40 I ordered. However out of the ones that fit some won't fit in some buttons but do in others. I personally found that they are so cheap it was worth ordering a bunch and just trying different ones out.

It should also be mentioned 3 magnets will only fit in the adjustable throw buttons and also 3 magnets in the newer adjustable throw buttons leaves with a very tiny throw which I don't like much so I was forced to use just 2 before I went back to springs.

And I bought mine from gaussboys as well but this was a year or so ago.

some older button's cases had a 5,8mm hole fright. But the most cases have an 6mm hole:)

My magnets from gaussboy should be delivered today, I'm pretty excited to try them!
Quick question, though.. I've never taken apart a round button.. what's the best way to do this without damaging it? I've used pliers on the hexagonal buttons with ease, but not sure how to grip the round button properly.
Maybe pliers and some leather or rubber material?
