i actually love the vamos. their great mods for the price (32 bucks thru fasttech for the stainless model) But as previously stated, the connectors are made out of brass, and soft brass on top of that.

as im sure alot of you know i cant stand brass!....why cant these companies get a frickin clue. after my first thread stripping incident on a evic i started buying the AFC's and putting them on my mods when new before even dropping batteries in.its alot cheaper to replace a $3 AFC than an entire mod.

I have a bunch of mods with aluminum and some with brass 510s, yep, from the same place you buy em, Cali, that's why I have so many.

Some I put a 510 to 510 on but then dropped them so the connection stripped out. Trying to just buy stainless now!
That spinner I squished with a pliers ended up going to Spinner Heaven, by the way.

You all do realize there is another set of threads on the head

And you CAN still get eGo style threaded tanks?
Really cheaply from FT as well
Found 497 ego clearomizers at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

In fact I have found eGo threaded tanks to fit better with less wobble because the threads have more surface area to bite on
