In the hopes of making information even more available to all of you and eliminating the multiple threads on certain topics, I am posting all of the FAQ information from our website here and will be updating this as frequently as possible. Please DO NOT comment on this thread, if there is a question and answer you would like to see added to this list please PM me and I will do my best to get it added ASAP!

What is your most popular flavor?
Currently, Tribeca is our most popular Tobacco blend and Mystic is our most popular Menthol blend. We do have some exciting new flavors being introduced this year that may change this ranking.

What ingredients are used in your E-Liquid?
Our ingredients contain USP Grade Propylene Glycol and USP Grade Glycerin along with a proprietary blend of USP Grade Natural and Artificial flavorings. All ingredients are FDA and FEMA approved food additives, and we use only the highest quality USP Grade Nicotine with a Certificate of Analysis. Our nicotine is tested and documented to be a minimum of 99% pure before our e-liquid is created in our US facility.

Should I refrigerate my E-liquid?
No. Halo E-liquid should be kept consistently at room temperature for optimal flavor. The flavoring in cold e-liquid tends to separate from other ingredients, significantly reducing the flavor. In addition, if your e-liquid has been left outside in a cold mailbox during winter months, it is highly recommended that you allow it to sit at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours before vaping. This should be ample time for the flavoring to meld back with other ingredients, allowing for optimal results.

What is the PG/VG ratio of your e-liquid?
This is proprietary information which we are unable to share at this time. There are many companies looking to duplicate Halo e-liquid, and we prefer not to offer any specific information regarding ratios or specific ingredients.

Does your e-liquid contain Diacetyl?
No. Halo does not contain Diacetyl in any of our e-liquid formulas. This was a strict requirement for Halo far before it became a popular topic in the forums.

Do you accept returns on e-Liquid?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns on e-liquid that does not meet personal flavor expectations. Taste is a very subjective sense that will vary greatly from person to person. We highly recommend purchasing a sample pack or 7ml sample bottle from our site to determine if our e-liquid is a good match for your personal taste. In accordance with our strict Quality Control guidelines, returned e-liquid could never be re-used for any purpose, so will not be accepted.

Could I have received a “bad batch”?
This question should be prefaced by saying that to date we have not had any “bad batches”. Each one of our bottles has a unique Lot code which gives specific details about how the batch was processed and which ingredients were used for its production. We closely monitor feedback regarding specific batches, which would help us identify a “bad batch” if one were ever to arise. If you feel you received a “bad batch”, simply contact us for further information about the specific Lot number you received. You should also ensure that your e-liquid has been kept at room temperature for 48 hours before contacting us.

What nicotine level should I choose?
There are far too many variables for us to make this determination on your behalf. What types of cigarettes you currently smoke, the quantity smoked, how long you’ve smoked for, the length of each drag, and the strength of your drag are just some of the variables that determine the level of nicotine that is right for you. Halo always recommends starting with a lower nicotine level and working your way up until the desired results are achieved. This will help to keep you from absorbing too much nicotine and reducing the chance of potential side effects.

What is the difference between a manual and an automatic battery?
Automatic batteries offer an experience most similar to smoking an actual cigarette, so they are typically preferred by new users. Automatic batteries are activated by air-flow, so there is nothing for the user to do other than inhale. With Manual batteries on the other hand, there is a small button which must be pressed for the unit to start working. Once the button is released, the unit will shut off. Manual batteries are typically preferred by experienced users that prefer more control over their electronic cigarette experience.

How many drops should I put into the G6 Cartomizer?
We recommend starting with 20 drops in a completely empty G6 Cartomizer. Refilling may require less depending on how much liquid is still left in the cartomizer.

How many times can I refill a G6 Cartomizer?
The G6 Cartomizer can be refilled multiple times, depending on personal preference. Although many of our customers refill cartomizers well over a dozen times, we also have those who prefer “fresher” cartomizers. Cartomizers should typically be replaced once they experience performance issues such as significantly decreased vapor, difficult drags or tattered polyfill.

How do I fill a G6 Cartomizer?
Refilling a G6 Cartomizer is fairly simple and can be a great way to save money. First, remove the plastic cap from the back of the G6 Cartomizer. Stand the cartomizer up with the threaded end down, and slowly drip 20 drops onto the white “polyfill” inside. Try not to drip too much into the center as this could cause liquid to leak out of the other side. Once the 20 drops have been added, replace the plastic cap and let stand with the threaded end down. Allow 30 minutes for the liquid to adequately be absorbed into the cartomizer. Use a paper towel to clean up any excess liquid that may have leaked out during the process. Ensure the threaded connector is completely dry as well. It is very important not to overfill cartomizers, as this can easily burn out batteries or cause them to experience issues.

What is your warranty on Starter Kits?
Halo is pleased to offer a 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee on all Starter Kits. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of your electronic cigarette kit, simply contact us for return instructions within 30 days of the purchase date. Consumable components such as cartomizers, atomizers and cartridges cannot be refunded for sanitary reasons. The components could never be resold due to our strict Quality Control guidelines, so cannot be refunded.

Why isn’t my battery working correctly?
The most common reason batteries will die prematurely or experience issues is because liquid has gotten inside the battery. This is usually caused by overfilled cartomizers that leak into the battery threading, and ultimately into the battery itself. Once this occurs, the battery may experience erratic behavior or just burn-out completely. Please note that batteries damaged by overfilled cartomizers are not covered under warranty. If you feel this is not the case, and the battery is defective, please contact us for additional assistance.

Do you have an Instruction Manual for the Triton Tank System?

Can I use my G6 USB Adapter to charge my Triton batteries?
No, you should never use the G6 USB Adapter to charge Triton batteries. This can cause significant irreversible damage to your Triton battery due to the differences in voltage required for charging.

Can I use my G6 Wall Charger in conjunction with the Triton USB Adpter/Battery?
Yes, the G6 wall charger will work with the Triton USB adapter and battery. The G6 and Triton wall chargers have the same output voltage so will cause no issues when used interchangeably.

How come my Triton battery will not work when pressing the button?
Triton batteries must be turned on before using for the very first time. To turn on your battery, press the button 5 times in rapid succession. The battery will them remain “on” indefinitely, and you’ll just have to press the button normally to inhale.

When should I turn “off” my Triton battery?
There is no harm in leaving your battery “on” all day, as the battery life does not get consumed unless the button is pressed. You may want to turn off your battery when placing in your pocket or purse to ensure the button does not get pressed accidentally. To turn off your Triton battery, simply press the button 5 times again in rapid succession. You will need to turn it back “on” again before using.

How do I fill/refill my Triton Tank?
Filling the Triton Tank is simple, and much faster than refilling cartomizers. First, unscrew the entire tank from the battery to prevent damage due to overfilling. Once the entire tank is removed from the battery, unscrew the black tip from the top of the Triton Tank. Next, fill the outer cavity with e-liquid until it reaches the 2.4ml mark. Ensure the center post inside the tank is snug (do not overtighten) by turning it clockwise. Screw the black tip back onto the tank, and filling is complete.
Important: Do not fill the higher center hole with e-liquid. The center hole is for air flow and will leak out if filled.

Shipping Carrier

United States Postal Service
Halo is proud to ship our packages using the United States Postal Service (USPS). We have found USPS to be the most cost effective solution for our customers. We currently offer First Class Mail and Priority Mail for both domestic and international orders. Shipping rates are received from USPS and automatically calculated during checkout based on the geographic location of the recipient and the size/weight of the shipment.

Shipment Tracking
Orders shipped via USPS First Class Mail will be sent with "Delivery Confirmation" to ensure they reach the intended recipient. Although you will receive a tracking number upon shipment, full tracking will not be available. Typically, the USPS tracking information for First Class shipments will only indicate when the package was scheduled for delivery and when the package was delivered. Priority Mail offers full tracking capabilities, which includes updates once packages reach each USPS hub.

Delivery Schedule

Shipment Time
We do our very best to ship orders as quickly as possible. Orders received before 3:00PM EST on Monday - Friday are normally shipped the same day. Orders received before 11:30AM EST on Saturday are also typically shipped the same day. Any orders received after 11:30AM EST on Saturday are shipped first thing Monday morning. This schedule may vary slightly during extremely busy times such as sales events and holidays.

Delivery Time
Domestic Shipments: Packages shipped domestically via USPS Priority Mail are typically delivered within 2-3 business days. Although First Class Mail offers a more economical shipping solution, delivery times can be considerably longer than Priority Mail. Packages shipped domestically via USPS First Class mail are typically delivered in 2-10 days depending on the distance from our distribution center in New Jersey.

International Shipments
Packages shipped outside of the USA via Priority Mail International are typically delivered in 6-10 business days after shipment. Packages sent outside the USA via First Class Mail International will have varied delivery times which can be up to 20 days for remote areas.

Import Taxes & Duty
Please note that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs charges, DDP, VAT, and the like, once your package reaches your country. These fees are not included in your billed shipping cost. Any and all import taxes and customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. Duties and taxes levied by the host country are beyond our control and scope. We urge our customers to check with the local authorities to see what kind of import duties are levied by the Country they reside in.

Any packages refused by international customers for tax liability will receive a $15.00 restocking/reshipping fee. If packages need to be reshipped, additional shipping costs will also apply.

Consumable Hardware: Consumable hardware such as atomizers, cartomizers and cartridges are non-refundable unless proven to be defective. Defective consumable products may be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase.

Additional Hardware: If you’re not absolutely satisfied with your purchase of Halo brand hardware, you can return it for a full exchange or refund within 30 days of receipt.

When enough Halo Points have been accumulated, they can be used to get free products from our Halo Rewards Catalog. How To Earn Halo Points

There are multiple ways to earn Halo Points on our website, from purchasing products to sharing your Halo experience with others. Points earned from any of these avenues are universal and are added to your Halo account once approved. Check out the list below to see how you can start earning Halo Points:

Purchasing Halo Products - Earn 100 Points For Every $20 Spent
You can earn Halo Points by purchasing almost any item in our online store, from bottled e-liquid to G6 and Triton Hardware. All items included in this program will clearly display the number of Halo Points earned at the top of the product information page. There are no limitations on how many points can be earned for purchasing Halo products, however the points earned will vary slightly depending on the item purchased as outlined below:

Bottled E-liquid: Earn 100 Halo Points for every $20 spent on E-liquid
G6 / Triton Hardware: Earn 75 Halo Points for every $20 spent on Hardware

Due to the limitations of our points system, there is no way to offer partial points for orders that do not meet the dollar threshold. For example, if $30 is spent on hardware you will receive 75 Halo Points. You would have to reach the $40 mark to earn the full 150 Halo Points. Good news though, we actually set the threshold at $19.99 for 30ml bottles of e-liquid. That means you’ll still get 100 Halo Points even if you only order just one 30ml bottle of e-liquid. You didn’t think we would intentionally beat you out of points over one cent, did you?

Sharing Halo on Social Networks - Earn 15 Halo Points

If you really like a Halo product or one of the informational pages on our site, we encourage you to share it via your social network. Earn an additional 15 Points just for clicking any of the social buttons at the top of our pages. The Social Share Buttons are located on the top-right of each Halo page, and are ready to be clicked. You will earn points for sharing Halo via Facebook, Twitter, Google and even Pinterest. Please note the following to ensure your sharing is approved by the Halo team:

Logged In: Please ensure you are logged into our site before clicking the social button to ensure that points are credited to your account. This is the only way that our system will recognize that you have shared an item, and is required to earn points.

Maximum Shares: Points will be awarded for one share per social network per day. You are more than welcome to share on multiple networks, however you will receive points once for each network in any given day. This is to prevent spamming on our site, while ensuring the points program is not abused.

Review Period: All Social Shares will be held for up to 10 days for review before points are applied to your account. This is to prevent abuse of the points system, by ensuring that the page is not “Unshared” during the review period.

Referring a Friend - Earn 250 Halo Points
Earn a huge amount of Halo Points for introducing Halo products to others. We’ve made the process super simple and you can start earning points right away. Please follow the steps below to start referring customers and earning massive Halo points:

How To Refer: Just click on the “Refer a Friend” Link on any one of our product pages, and fill out the quick form. An email will then be sent to your friend with a link back to our site. Points will be earned once your referral places their first order.

Different Address: Referral orders must have different billing and mailing addresses from the referrer. This is to avoid abuse of the points program, and any referrals not meeting this condition will be cancelled.

Writing Product Reviews - Earn 25 Halo Points
Show your love for your favorite Halo products, and earn 25 Halo Points while doing so. For each product in our store, you will find the “Write a Review” link under the “Earn More Points” heading. Simply click this link, and write your review of the product. Once submitted, a member of the Halo Staff will examine your review and approve or reject it within 7 business days. Once approved, your earned points will be automatically applied to your account. Please note, approval of each review is entirely up to our discretion but to help ensure your review is approved:

Proofreading: Submitted reviews must be submitted with proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. Minor corrections can be made by Halo staff, however very poorly written reviews will not be accepted.

Minimum Length: Submitted Reviews must be at least 250 characters with at least some level of detail for points to be earned. Please don’t just tell us you love a product, please tell us why you love it.

Maximum Submissions: You will earn points on a maximum of (2) reviews per day. This is to prevent spamming on our site, while ensuring the points program is not abused.

One Review Per Item:
Points will only be approved for reviews on different items. Reviews submitted by the same person for the same item will not be accepted to ensure the points program is not abused.

Disallowed Content:
Reviews submitted with inappropriate language or vagrantly disrespectful to the Halo brand will not be accepted. Our products are a tobacco alternative and not a smoking cessation device. Any reviews that reference quitting smoking will not be accepted.

How To Redeem Your Rewards
Redeeming Halo Points for free products is a breeze, and can be done right through our website. You can always view your total Halo Points and how they were earned by going to the Points and Rewards section of your account. Once you have earned enough points, simply browse our Rewards Catalog to see what items you are eligible to redeem. Once you find a free product you would like, just click the “Add To Cart” button on the product information page. Once added, you will see the item in your shopping cart with the full item amount deducted from your subtotal. You will also be able to see how many points were used to redeem the item. Please note that if you do not have enough Halo Points in your account, the normal product price will be charged.
