Ok, since we're sharing wifey experiences...Mama, did one that almost broke another leg.

I was putting a load of wash in the machine out back while Mama was in the front yard watering her garden. All of a sudden, I hear Mama calling me, "Chris! Chris! Come here quick!"

This is going to need some background info - The front of the house has a large porch with steps going down to the drive and the garden split on either side of the drive. On the lefthand side in front of the porch, there used to be a step down from the drive to a sidewalk that followed the porch around and all the way to the back of the house.

In place of the step, we put in a cement ramp slopping down to the sidewalk and that's where I found Mama. She was trying to navigate the ramp but ended up falling off the far side. She was half in half out of the wheelchair and grabbing the rim of a large potted plant to keep from going further down the ramp.

Mama needs to learn her limitations.

She does indeed.

She is finding out that there are some things she just cannot do. Piloting the wheelchair around the house is one of them. It's too bad she's finding out the hard way with some of them instead of taking my word for it...

wellll... one more update on the SuperWonderBat Girl... the Home Health nurse came by and from her experience with such issues, she believes that wifey has broken her knee and set things up for an x-ray for 9 am thurs.

and I just got called in for work ... the nite shift guy needs to get his "stuff" together.. he keeps this up hes not going to have a job...

be back in 4 hours...
