BK, how many doses does Mrs Killer get in all and how often?
I think BK said a daily shot of granix, and chemo for 6-8 months then radiation?? It's a helluva long hard road for our Mrs. BK and for anyone going through that like Mrs Chak. Prayers for you both. You're stronger better (wo)men than me.

welllp.. got the wifey back from her second dose of chemo... shes still alive :)
her hair is starting to "loosen up" so she went and got the "Sheniya Twain" hair style ;)
kinda reminds me of the hair cuts I used to get back when I was 5... the All American Buzz cut... high n tight ;)

said she didnt want to have to deal with a bunch of long hair all over the place....
while we were waiting for her to get her hair cut... I mentioned that we could look at all the different hair care products ... its good to see her laugh... she thought it was funny :) she even laughed so hard she had to rush to the bathroom....

and the dog hates red helium filled balloons... absolutely terrorized by them... wont stop barking at them... actually its kinda funny

Dyed it purple and buzz cut it?!? Mrs BK rocks! Too bad my buzz cut is all grown out. We could start a club. My aunt started pestering me a year ago that I should dye mine purple.

I'm glad you're finding wackiness in the midst of tough times. Good for you both.

Ah, breakfast of champions! A peanut butter and jelly sandwich and not just an ordinary PB&J but a Nutella PB&J on whole wheat!

I did not get the Nutella gene.

My breakfast was a Vegas Green Smoothie Ninja Sytle. (I named the recipe myself!)

Blueberries, strawberries, apple, orange, banana - all organic. Organic kale. Coconut oil. Spirulina (a nutrient rich algae), flax and hemp seeds. Cold water and a bunch of ice.

Run that in the Ninja 1200 - et voila! My version of breakfast of champions (for two)!

Seriously, you can feel your lifespan expand with every sip. :)

she gets chemo every 2nd friday ( 2 week interval) 3 types of chemos... ones called the Red Devil or Red Death ( thats the nasty one) she gets Granix every day except a day or 2 before the next chemo drip. They hold off on that one to get accurate blood sample readings for the next round of chemo. Found out she was a Stage 2 cancer with the potential to go to stage 3... ( thats why shes getting 3 types of chemo instead of 2)... her Dad died of non hodgkins lymphoma and she has the genes that predisposes her to it also.

My thoughts and prayers to both of you. Also didn't Robin say she was getting checked soon by her specialist doc? {{{{Robin BK Mrs BK Chak Mrs Chak}}}}
PS Steroids are pretty darn good for kicking mild pneumonia.

Sounds like they got Mrs Killer diagnosed just in time. And fortunately she is healthy enough to withstand the chemo and radiation.

Thanks Hula,

Robin goes in for the test next week. I'm praying it comes out negative for whatever they're looking for.

Wednesday the 25th is when we see what is going on inside me.

The not knowing is the worst part. I need to have something concrete and know exactly what I need to focus my battle on.

Good Morning Army. Starting my day off with a flat tire seems piddling compared to some of the issues all of you old farts are going through....

Hopefully the Doctors will make it happen for Robin and Mrs. Killer. Chak already knows what a long road it can be.
Urlacher found a squirrel in the yard. After all the theatrics to get outside, the squirrel just went up the nearest tree.
Mamaw's retirement is exhausting for me.
Work is still wide open, and probably will be for the next several months.
Welcome to REOVille (and the USA) Wiota. I am surprised Rob still has the Classic Grand in stock as everyone wants the LP REO these days.

Enjoy the day, and Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Just wanted to drop by and say hello to the Army , it seems like dam near everybody is having a rough go of it lately from what I've read and I hope everyones troubles pass quickly and safely . I know I dropped off the face of the earth as far as ya'll are concerned , just wanna say that my inclination is if I can't speak freely as an adult then I prefer not to speak at all . Anyway , I have very well aged Legend in a Rose on the Provari and an equally well aged DF in the Reo grand doesn't get any better than that . Don't want or need a gazillion watt cloud machine , so zero interest in new vape gear on my part and I'm not bothering to try and keep up with the new contraptions . Guess I'm becoming a codger .:) Later ya'll !

Retic! It was so glad to see you on here. We have missed you. Sounds like you have it going on vape wise. I hope all is well with you. I'm just sitting here looking at the news, and it is depressing. I am going to find something on Netflix to watch. ( Hopefully something GOOD this time... :) )

Retic, good to see you're still alive and kicking! We have missed you and would love to hear more from you, but that's totally up to you. I agree that too much censorship can be a pain in the .....

Add me to the kist of old codgers as I have no intention of buying any new gear at the moment. My Kanger Kbox & Subtank are roasting Pirates Booty along with the Provari and Svoemesta V3 with Triple Threat. My vaping has been a little light lately because my batteries are on their last leg and don't keep a charge. So I've been dual using with the stinkies. UGH! I know - not good. Should be doing better when my battery order arrives. A shout out to Woita in helping me purchase those - they are en route to my daughter as we speak. Unfortunately, they won't reach Thailand till the end of June when she comes to visit. If I had planned a bit better, he could have sent them to my brother's house and I could have them on the 5th of June instead of the 23rd. (In case you missed it, I'm going home for my mom's memorial service that week.)

Anyway, I've rambled on long enough. Don't be a stranger - you're always welcome here.

Loving it here in Reoville. Rob kept his promise, my LP (mini btw) arrived yesterday morning, less than 24 hrs after I talked to Rob...
and isn't she (he? it?) a beauty

Will keep my fingers crossed for Robin on Wed. the waiting game is the hardest :(

Good luck again to Mrs BK. Sounds like you caught it in time, but sounds like a tough time ahead.

Hey Retic, great to hear from you. How's Linux-Land? :D
