The ipv D2 has step-down issues.
This could affect people who use old tanks that burn when too powerful or want to vape under the 4.2 volts of a fresh battery.

I was looking at getting the IPV D2 or D3, but then settled for the Evic Mini VTC for its firmware upgrade, SS TC mode, and price. I really wanted the D3 though

I did the same @KayP (except not for the firmware, because I don't firmware anything unless it's broken).
Next up on my shopping list is Sigelei Spark. I don't think I'm likely to buy anything IPV to be honest, not now.

On second thoughts, I'm going to be happy with the Evic Mini VTC. It appears to have a bigger presence and more reviews. I'm happy going with something that has been trialed and tested.
