I got something in my eye yesterday at work but thought it was out and seemed fine. Last night my eye felt irritated and I tried rinsing it out but it never felt better. It kept me awake most of the night. I could barely keep my eyes open on the way to work. I'm going to call the doctor's office and try to get in some time today.
My regular doctor couldn't get the pieces out so I went to a specialist and he removed three tiny pieces of metal from my eye and gave me antibiotic eye drops.
Me too. It's still really sore and sensitive to light but he said it should be better in a few days. I have to do the eye drops four times a day for five days.
Hubs had to do the same when he got metal in his eye a few years back.

I had my youngest daughter drive to her violin lesson today since my eye was still bothering me. We stopped at a crosswalk and the impatient driver behind us tried to go around us on the left and and drug the side of their SUV on our fender and bumper. What an idiot!
It was a she and yes I have photos of her license, insurance, and her phone number.
