In May 2016 the EU tobacco Products Directive (TPD) comes into force.
And it’s likely to have a major impact on the industry.
Restrictions include:
- a limit on bottle size
- a limit on nicotine strength
- an effective ban on most imported e-liquid
- restrictions on clearomisers
- a massive regulatory burden
There’s still a lot of rumours swirling round, and some of them appear to make the TPD sound much worse that it is.
