YES - Very happy that the electric is back on and not just for myself, but for everyone else who seems to be getting back to normal too . . .
I just feel as bad though for everyone who is still affected and those going to be effected by "Maria" now . . .

DH and I took a drive by the St. Jonh's river which runs through Jax and down by Orange Park, SW of Jax. Lots of huge, very rich homes line that 3-4 mile river drive and some got some water in them but the destruction on the river front in front of the houses was shocking.
Dozens of huge oaks, hundreds years old…down. I couldn't help crying.
Their boat docks wiped out. The wind took the tops off altogether and…
…deposited them at the shore. It looked like a war zone.
And as you can see from the middle photo the water is still up.

In the midst of all this mess, I had to return to work, so I couldn't keep up with this thread. When I got back to work, it was a different ball game because quite a few of our mechanics are from Florida, and I didn't see them. After about three days, they started showing up, so I could breathe again. Now that I seen the check in list, I can breathe even better. Sounds like progress slow but sure. I'm so thankful nobody that I know was lost. For those that were....my heart hurts.
Well Cable (TV & Internet) being down is really starting to suck. Finally got a ticket Monday, and they said 24 to 48 hours, but nothing has happened yet. Guess I'll call them again this afternoon if it is still not fixed. 11 days and counting without TV and Internet

I plan on it, once they get it back up. I'm not going to pay for a service that I'm not getting. If it was not for tethering my cell phone, I would not have any connection to the outside world.
I glad all your people made it back ok. I hope they didn't have damages.
