Congrats on quitting, but I think that the policy that those hospitals are taking is a horrible one, with a very slippery slope. Looks like some states have laws to protect smokers, but Ohio isn't one of them. Although I don't agree with it, I can at least see the reasoning about not hiring smokers. But people who use e-cigs and NRT's, which are not proven to have any significant health risks, should not be included. Here's an article about the hiring ban and it lists the states that protect the rights of smokers.

U know it is definitely a slippery slope.
What I am about to type is directed to the overall energy
and madness in this country.
If you stand for stuff such as this;
then don't gripe about the NSA snooping around
in our emails phone calls and text messages.
When government passes any laws that is an intrusion
on our personal freedoms.
Business govt and corporations have gone mad.
We have or maybe the world has turned into a buch of mindless
sissies. The masses should be dictating to the few.
