Keep in mind the Precise Simplicity 18650 is 8mm shorter then the PrecisePlus 18650, making it not much longer then the PrecisePlus 18500

Good morning Larry, We don't have any plans for slant caps on the Simplicity line unfortunately.

The 18650 has always outsold the 18500 and 18350 for us at least. We made the 18650 first because it has the most power for high amperage RBA's and can also be used the new Kick V2 and Crown. With this new design and its shorter button and top cap design, it's not much longer then the PrecisePlus 18500 so you get 18650 power in a near 18500 size.
