Is there a skin-test to test for PG allergy?

Hi,
I've read the symptoms - I luckily don't seem to have any of them.
Although i think my eyes get a bit sore from vaping..

It's hard for me to pinpoint it however as I also have cat allergies, a cat and hayfever..

Is there a test other than vaping PG, such as a skin application?

Yes.. just place a tiny bit on your skin and then p rick your skin (tiny bit) right there so a little of the pg gets under your skins surface and see if any redness or swelling or any reaction occurs in the spot. (Doesn't take but a few minutes, about 15) to find out if your allergic.

PG is hygroscopic. So you might need to drink more water than you usually do when vaping.
Could well be that your eyes react to less than optimum lubrication.

But vapers kinda gotten used to sore eyes - having to read all that ANTZ drivel

The 'soreness' just comes from dehydration, and is exacerbated by your allergies. Drink more water, especially when/if you're chain vaping.

As stated above, you can put some on your skin, and cover it with a large bandage. If it causes a hive with intense itching, you're allergic.

Keep yourself hydrated since vaping eliquid has a dehydration effect. Thou some claim their eliquid don't have dehydration effect. You can check sensory solution.

Try a saline solution for your eyes and use at least 4x's a day. That could be a symptom of dehydration. I do have a dx'd allergy to pg. It was discovered due to a reaction to general anesthesia. I also can't use topicals like neosporin, bacatracin, vaseline and my throat closes using pg eliquids. I carry an epi pen because pg is in everything.
