Depending on what you mean, I think the DC-3 of mods is the iStick 20 watt. They are still for sale and probably will be for years to come.
First of all, it is still in beta, so the price has to be higher to help with the development costs, and second, if you place a rectangle of glass on top, it can also be a great coffee table. See? Dual function for that price.
