I suggest you browse the threads here in the e-liquid section to get a better idea of what is involved along with viewing some of the videos online. There is one for the DIY Starter kit I purchased yesterday which is done by a second party that is not affiliated with Liquid Barn. No one can really honestly tell you if it is easy because what is second nature to one person could be incredibly hard or next to impossible for another.

Good Luck

I have another thread running in DIY for the percentages if you would like to follow it. Total cost for a complete starter kit was $75 USD after a $20 off coupon I found from The Vape Ladies. Best part is I will get 1,000 ML's of VG/PB and 250 ML's of VG Based Nic (Additional) plus 10 15 ML flavors. I searched trying to put together a kit but nothing I found compared to this deal. Some I would be buying VG/PG in a short time as only a couple of hundred ML's.

I make my juice for about 5¢ American per ml. It's a lot cheaper. It is no harder to do than following a recipe in a cookbook, but developing the recipe will take some tweaking. THe nice thing about it is you can make you juice with exactly what you want in it; more or less flavor, more or less nic, more or less PG/VG ratio, etc. But it takes a while to get all that working together.

One good option is to buy a starter kit for ejuices. I didn't, but a lot of folks started that way. I've never tried one, but I am told people like the Liquid Barn starter kits. At a minimum, you'll need 4 10ml plastic syringes for measuring, something to mix in and with-- coffee cup and a stainless spoon works-- and some empty juice bottles to put it in after you make it. From there, (USP Grade) PG and VG, which I usually buy on eBay; plus some nicotine juice (I get mine at MyFreedomSmokes), and some flavors (I use Flavor Apprentice.) An ejuice calculator is helpful as well. Finally, reference to the DIY section will get you started on recipes. I recommend you mix small batches at first, so you don't have to vape so much of stuff you don't like if it doesn't come out right.

If you mix in 30ml batches, the 3 ml syringe is essential for the flavors. More precise gradations.
You should spend at least a week to adjust your base.
I started at 50/50 & 24mg nico. At weeks end 65pg/35vg & 16nico. Throat hit adjustment??
I then added 1flavor @ 4%.
I then added 2nd flavor @ 4%. Etc
When i had 3 flavors in 3 discreet juices, i mixed/matched.

Laborious, certainly.
Previous 6 months i was chasing my tail, goin nowhere. I also found cloning a juice to be a total waste of time..
