The Kanger Kbox, in my view, has it's pros and cons.

The KBOX requires a high amperage, flat top 18650 battery (button top will not fit in the mod) to withstand the power of a subohm topper, with a minimum amperage rating of 20 amps, such as the LG INR25, the new AW, or purple Efest, to name a few. I would not install "regular", standard amperage batteries; you can risk overheating the battery and the mod.

Pros:
Simple to use. The button is on the side so you can grip the mod when you press the button to vape.
Variable wattage, ranging from 8-40W.
A small button below the LED display dots, which reads "W", allows you to adjust the wattage for 8, 13, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 watts. It's simple to adjust the wattage upwards; just press the small "W" button.
The LED "dots" on the left side of the display denotes battery voltage level. You have a rough idea as to how much your battery is charged.
Ergonomically designed--and small enough--to fit in your hand.

Cons:
Does not include an LED display to show voltage. It takes getting used to estimating your battery's remaining capacity and knowing when to recharge.
Does not contain an ohm meter. You have to use a separate ohm meter to measure your topper's resistance.
Drains the battery quickly when running on 20+W. Must buy at least 2 batteries if you're a chain vaper.

Overall, the KBOX 8-40W is a good subohm box mod for a low price. Excellent for beginning subohmers and for modwhompers looking to upgrade to a simple subohm regulated mod.
