How does this differ from say the toptank if it's got SSOC coils? Is it more restricted airflow for MTL? It looks like less a huge upgrade to the protank series and more a conversion to a sort of half-Subtank half-tootle puffer hybrid.

Off the bat, main differences:

1. 5ml capacity
4. RBA with dual clapton coil

There are no video reviews/overviews available yet nor photos
other than the promo I posted above, so it's hard to say what
else sets this tank apart from. We'll have to wait and see.

I mean those differences do seem to justify a new tank model but why call it a protank if it's another Subtank derivative? Are Kanger phasing out their tootle puffers entirely?

"Evolved" signifies next generation, but you are right in that it looks like
they threw the kitchen sink into this one. Hopefully it will retain the Protank
series tight draw ability.

As for the name; you'll have to contact Kanger and ask them directly.

Very interesting. I'm a big fan of my Subtank Plus, but was hoping they'd do a Toptank Plus update like they did on the Mini and Nano....I wonder if this is in place of that? Very curious to see if anyone gets this and can compare with the Plus tank; even though this is 5 vs 7 mils.

I wish they would also make smaller tanks. My wife only uses Kanger PT 2'S since she likes the size. It seems the manufacturers only care about the younger cloud chasers. Oh well the 4 PT2's are still working great and are so easy to rebuild the coils. I buy pre made wire and wicks for $.04 at FT.

A lot of vapers such as myself have switched from Ego batteries
over to mods that can accommodate larger sized tanks. I can now
vape for 2.5-4 hours with a larger tank whereas I'd be constantly
refilling if I still used my PT Mini II's/III's, which isn't particularly convenient
if you're on a 5 hour road trip.
