Kanger SUBOX Mini Starter kit

Hello folks! got a question for you. I bought myself a Kanger subox Mini for my first time mod and I recently bought a smok TF-RTA that comes pre built .15 ohm quad coils. I no that the sub box mini is under powered for this setup but I am waiting for some Kanthal wire to arrive so i can change the setup on it. So my question is: the specs on the Kanger Mod says it supports as low as a .3 ohm but when install the RTA it does show up as .15 and it does fire up at 45 watts. Will this damage the mod since its below the supported ohm range?

Well wicked it up and tried it out and at 50 watts it just not doing it. Guess Ill have to wait untill i get a mod that can pump out more wattage. I also bough the Pharoh RTA that came with the single coil deck. Ill have to wait untill my Kanthal comes in. Ill just build a .5 ohm with some 24 gauge.

I had a 0.2 ohm coil in my Baby Beast tank, and it fired for a couple hours, then would blink every time the button was depressed.... I believe I was firing it at 40-45w. So I guess you can get away with a few puffs before it remembers that it's not supposed to do that.... ; )

Well i did get an answer from Kangertech and this is what i got:

Suggest you use coil over 0.3ohm, it maybe damage the mod if you use the coil under 0.3ohm,thanks.)

So I did take one coil off of my 4 coil RTA and installed it in my single coil RTA and it came up to .55 ohms. So I am using that for now untill my Kanthal comes in. I am running it at 23 Watts and its working fine.
