kangertech aerotank v2 base issue

Im posting this because im about to never buy another kangertech product again. Ive been using the t3s tanks for a year but they crack eventually even with good care.

my mechanical mod cranks really well with a drip tank.
but i wanted a nice clearo tank i can carry at work.
today will be 3 days ive been building new single coil atomizers for this thing. trying every different method ive read online to try and get it to fire.
i know my coils r good cause my multimeter says they r. as soon as they go in the base they have no resistance. ive done everything possible.
moving the pos pin.
changing the insulator.
flipping the pos pin around.
pos pin on base is touching the coil cause it reads fine with
pos pin and neg end on the atomizer,
tried not screwing coil in too tight
everything.

but there is nothing when i touch pos pin and neg to 510 thread on the base. no resistance.

this is crazy everything is situated perfectly and the base seems like it cant hold a current is that possible?

Is it possible that you have your coil in the base too loose? Maybe the coil is not making good contact if it is not screwed in there snugly. That's all I got.

perhaps your positive pin in grounding on the base, make sure the wire is cut as close as possible to the head.
On a side note rebuilding these things can be a real pain, and you can usually find them on sale so cheaply that its almost not worth the trouble of rebuilding them.
