The past four months I've been using the K24 two post on a series PWM box. I targeted my build for around 6V. I pretty much only use N80 anymore. Dual coils were a bit long (8-10 spaced wraps) and massy for me. So, I tried a between the posts single coil and was pleasantly surprised.
Exploring different wire and build dimensions, I found a pretty good performing build. Gapping the center coil, of a spaced build centers most of the coil over the air intakes and allows you to go much wider than the posts. So far, 22g N80/ 5.5mm ID has been working best.
