Lemo Building Issues?

So I've had a Lemo (V1) for a while but I feel like its just not performing the way it should. In my attempts to build it to about .5ohms (used steam engine to calc the wraps) I always end up at like .7. I've tried using less wraps, but it always seems to only hit around there.

With that aside, I also feel like for that resistance, its taking extra long to heat up. Has anyone had these issues or does anyone have any tips for me?

Are you using a mech or regulated mod? A mech can be slow to heat coils with a lot of mass. You can solve that on a regulated mod by raising your power. A 0.5 ohm coil vapes at 35W on a mech. On a regulated you might prefer 40-50W.

If you do 5 wraps with 24g kanthal, you should hit .4 ohms. That's what I'm rocking on my Lemo using ipv2s

Sorry, I'm using a mechs (same result on both of em) and 24Gauge wire. The idea is to use it with my 18500 batteries, but I'm getting the same result with my 18650 VTC4 and MXJO's.

Also, getting a new mod is kinda out of the question. I'm not too keen on spending loads of money on vaping.
